The expanse of the landscape, the layers of ocean, sky and forest mingle with my dreamscapes and memory. The imagery shifts and dissolves. These drawings are created from a detached place, utilizing the land as a subject for exploration of line and mark making. It is a dance between automatic drawing, observation and memory. Exploring my felt presence within an energetic environment, increasing in abstraction and simplification.
